On a one season loan. The 6' 7" 24 year old netted 22 goals in 53 appearances with Danish 1st Division side HB Kge, before making the move to Brondby IF in 2012.
He scored 35 goals in 74 league appearances for the Superliga giants, Makienok moved to Serie A Palermo last September. His height will be a major asset as the Addicks look to bolster the forward line, Makienok will become the tallest player to have every appeared for the Addicks' first-team.
