So let me get this right.

UK Labour is FOR retaining Trident, even though Corbyn himself won't press the button.
Kez, present leader of the Scottish Labour branch office, is FOR retaining Trident, yet the party at the recent conference voted AGAINST its retention.

So where do Labour stand, and how is this clear message going to help regain its lost (probably forever) vote?

Labour really are a dogs dinner of a party. >:)

Omnishambles describes it best Ian, We have a situation where UK Labour conference voted for trident,UK Labour leader against, UK shadow cabinet FOR, Scottish Labour conference AGAINST, Scottish Labour leader FOR, The Scottish Labour MSPs are also totally split with Jackie Ballie leading those for Trident Jenny Marra, Ken McIntosh, Lewis McDonald all for Trident, Scotland's only MP is on a different side from Dugdale, How does the Labour party square all this ? Sometime in the future the Labour Party UK will have to say what there official stance on trident is and its looking very much they will vote to renew Trident WTF does that leave Scottish Labour ? A new party forming ?
