We have been denied goals for much of this season then three come along but are not enough as Charlton are downed by Reading in stoppage time as they lose 4 - 3.
Yaya Sanogo proved his worth in scoring a hat trick as the Add1cks fought back from 1-0 down and then 3-1 down when it looked like a draw could be the end result but that was scuppered by Deniss Rakel’s late strike who won it for the visitors. Still Sanogo must be an ever inclusive as the season winds down and to avoid any hope of relegation.
Ex Add1ck Yann Kermorgant unfortunately scored for Reading on 4 and 35 minutes and showed respect for the Club by not celebrating. John scored for Reading on 42 and then Rakels on 90+2 minutes. Sanogo's goals for Charlton were scored on 7, 49 and 84 minutes.
Charlton players: Henderson, Fanni, Johnson, Teixeira, Motta (Harriott 76), Suk-Young, Diarra, Ba, Gudmundsson, Sanogo (Ghoochannejhad 89), Makienok.
