Agreed. He was appointed for the long term but sacked in the short term

As he says, the game is all about the today and now, what you have done in the past or what you can do in the future doesn't matter and the football management graveyard is littered with examples of that.

I liked the bloke, not big headed and all that...but, life is life, and so it goes...on another note, i really wish i could be a manager, sign a contract just for a year, on say 5 k a week...ooh f*ck the cv...just sack me in a few weeks and give me the lolly and life is jolly...this is why ill never be sad when football managers get the bullet..easy money provided by us....
