Ibrox was good for a couple of Rangers AGMs, maybe the SNP should get in touch with them?

Failing that, they could always support Tom Jones at Edinburgh Castle.

Nah that tartan Tories is well outdated never has been never will be.
Out of the 115,000 members and that's not including its supporters there's a massive amount of working class members around 80% ..that for me says it all.

There's a lot of working class people vote for the tories as well, Buc.

Buc

That's a fair point Mook but in members alone most that support the Tories aren't members it seems to be from my perspective that its mostly well to do types.

Mook1
18-03-2016, 02:50 PM
There's probably a bit of truth in that, Buc.

I think a lot of people are voting SNP due to the increasingly poor alternatives myself, rather than them being quite as wonderful as they like to make out.

Do you view the Scottish Conservatives in the same way as you do the tories in England? Is there a difference between the two, to your mind. Likesay.

Mook, who are these working class people who vote tory in Scotland. Borders folk?

It goes back to a time when The Unionist Party in the 1950s were the largest party in Scotland where protestant working class voted for the tory sister party in large numbers. Since then the so called 'orange vote' has crumbled (as has the catholic tradition of voting labour) as Scotland has become a more secular country.

Political polls on websites like follow follow still though have the tories easily as the most popular party for the brethern and this old tradition continues.

Actually the point I was making was the opposite. These things no longer matter thankfully.

I dont trawl Rangers sites but there are plenty on both sides who do and share there findings. There is one previous known as wally on this board who keep us up to date with what celtic fans are saying on their forums and social media.

Weefuddy is the archetypal land of hope and glory Britnat. Totally unable to look at anything SNP in any objective light. He utterly despises Scotland's new found confidence and also the Scots actually choosing a party that will put their needs first. Like the rest of his Unionist cohorts he's a very frightened man. The Union is broken... it doesn't even work for the people of England let alone the rest of us. He doesn't know what the Union stands for he never really did. A confused and frightened Man.

Maybe outdoor then we do need the space to accommodate the fans /members voters..

Funnily enough the four working class tories I was referring to don't like Football or go to Kirk.

Very simplistic of you to put it down to an 'Orange vote', there are working class idiots all over Scotland who vote tory & it has nothing to do with their religion or Football team.

Wembley Stadium. Got to be worth a punt. (What's the worst that could happen?)

I've lost touch a wee bit since the Referendum (would and could have voted Yes, but decided not to - felt wrong to do so, living in Ireland), so it's magic to hear that so many have joined the SNP. Hopefully the same sort of thing (on a smaller scale) is happening with the Green Party. Can't remember his, but that chappie who led the Greens (maybe he still does?) impressed me an awful lot during the Referendum campaign.

Mind you, so did Ruth Davidson (even if I didn't agree with much she had to say).

"Extensive new powers to intercept and store communications data were backed by a majority of MPs this week. But what does the so-called Snooper’s Charter - officially the Investigatory Powers Bill - mean for your privacy?

The bill passed its first reading by 266 votes in the House of Commons after Labour and the SNP ABSTAINED!!!! , rather than voting against, in a vote on Tuesday.
It is an update of existing laws governing the interception of communications. The new bill requires web and phone companies to store records of websites visited by every citizen for 12 months for access by police, security services and other public bodies. It also explicitly states, for the first time, the extent to which the security services have powers for the bulk collection of large volumes of personal communications data such as emails or text messages.

There you have it, the gnats who claim to represent the Scottish people just sat on their erses abstaining as all of Scotland was effectively

Care to share with us recent screenshots of a few of these polls, I'll admit to being on FF most days as it helps keep me in touch with whats going on with my team, however would I agree that its a close reflection on the Rangers support as whole? Certainly not, to suggest that it is is preposterous and in any case I can't remember a political poll put up on the site for a long time.
