Fits ordered fae the take away

I don't do proper cooking that often, so thought I'd start a takeaway thread along the lines o fit's cooking, where folk could post what they have ordered, (pics would be nice) who from and what they thought of it.

Today I will mostly be having Barbecue Spare Ribs, House Special Curry, Egg fried rice and chips from Good Taste. :p

Pac I wonder if they would deliver to Dyce maybe too far especially for the tip I would the driver, or would they be worth the drive out and back , you seem to like them

Do the drive. Twenty mins but worth it. Its the best Chinese i know of and am lucky its in my toon. My folks have came from Ellon to get one as its that good.

Im counting the sleeps untill i get one, food nae bad here but i could right go a Tigerlilly

If you do go its cash only but theres a hole in the wall round the corner

I go for a different dish every time I go and haven't been let down. There is a beef stir fry that's awesome though. Cant remember its actual name but it has 3 chillis next to it but don't let that fool you its not spicy

And its hot and sour soup is excellent too

Went to Blue Moon and had a Kerala chicken and a Khata chicken, nae great to be honest, very bland and tasteless.

I thought the restaurant was decent but the last time we had a takeaway it was s*ite


For the record I had duck with mango..

Manchurian is much better in my opinion..

The Tigerlilly is really good but it is more Thai orientated in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend any of the numerous chinese takeaways in Inverurie so I always go back to the Sunflower Garden in Pitmedden. Their prawn toast and their Peking spring roll starters are amazing.

A little tip is also to try and order either when they just open or are nearly closed as when they are really busy they sometimes take a long time to get it delivered and the food has been sitting a while. Still nice but when it has only taken a half hour tops to get delivered it is absolutely delicious.

Only tried Mr Chips once(Gt Western rd) years ago,and was never in a hurry to return,but picked up a Fish supper on the way home, fae the new one in Portlethen,and pleasantly surprised.Good fish,great chips,nae greasy,affa fine....

After my mixed starters and fragrant spicy pork from Tigerlilly on wed, tonight i treated myself and Mrs P to a Meldrum chipper

Fish supper and a single red pudding with a bottle o bru. Was ace.

Just finished a few currys from Shahbaaz, Special Chicken Muglia, Chicken Vindaloo, pilau rice and chips. They dae a fine Vindaloo sauce, my airse will be like a dragons nostril the morn.
