She's probably wondering where the workforce to fill 2,000 jobs is coming from. Probably migrants.

It's her looks and a private helicopter that caused all that.

Well the 200 (not 2,000) jobs that will be created over time up there will make up for it all.

2000 new jobs might be created but they won't be in Lossiemouth.

Be between 1-200 in Lossiemouth

The Ministry of Defence said the P-8A Poseidon planes will be based at RAF Lossiemouth, creating more than 100 jobs

Aldo to be fair its not a private helicopter its a hired one costing around 35k a year .

But the Tory party are spending millions on this plane on a refit alone .

Well I'm sure Nicola enjoyed herself whilst supporting one of the greatest ever Scottish sportsmen of all time

For me I would say its her job to be there as Scottish first minister..

Nicola I'm sure was doing some work whilst there for the benefit of the Scottish people.

She's not a Krankie indeed she's a very pretty lady I'm sure you'd agree Jupiter.:O

Fair enough Oscar...i mean Brian. I've no issues with the PM having a private jet but there's been plenty of said about the FM having the use of a helicopter.

It was what was announced that I picked up on, however there is also a £100 million to be spent at Lossiemouth for the new base training and maintainence facilities so all in all it is a good news story, there is nothing wrong in that.

Interesting question.
Implicit in it is the idea that other governments are trustworthy.

I'm not someone who subscribes to the idea that all politicians are venal egotists, I think in the main they want to do what's best for people. It's what they think is right that I'm more inclined to disagree with, of course some are vainglorious and get seduced by the attention and sound of their own voice and power - let's be honest that's why so many of them end up having a bit over the side, they have an attraction that they preciously never had - and that is a perpetual problem.

So, to answer I trust them as much as I trust every other government.

Vainglorious.

Its been some time since I've heard that word the last time I heard it said was indeed pointed at some Tory party leader .
