Free parking near town centre for 2days

Going to my daughters graduation and need to park the car up Wednesday night till Friday lunchtime.
anybody know of a decent place to park as the travel lodge doesn't have on site parking.

There's free parking spaces at Park Place its just off King Street although there are payment parking spaces nearby the part thats a dead end that's where you can park for free as long as grumpians finest aren't there before you ..

You will defiantly get a free space Friday evening its also not too far from the hotel .you could pay to park for a couple of hours in the afternoon if there's no space then nip back and move it to the free parking area
10 min walk or so to hotel

It's Wednesday night I'm going up and leaving Friday lunchtime. I'm going to try and get away and go to the game Thursday night fingers crossed haha.
What like is the park and ride?
