Hours of fun with Monkey Island 2 on the Amiga. Great graphics and gameplay. 12 discs. Only surpassed by Beneath a Steel Sky's 15 discs.

One of the many Ocean arcade games that you could get on the spectrum or in my case the MSX. Took months to get beyond the first level then the game crashed.

Never owned Goldenaxe but used to play it a friends house all the time. I can't remember what system it was on though. Brilliant 2-player.

I must have spent about a hundred quids worth of 20ps on it. Leathering the wee midgets to get the special power potions was fun.
Double Dragon 2 was great as well. As was Streets of Rage which came free with the Atari ST.

My all time favourite. NHLPA '93.
Mario Lemieux for the Pittsburgh Penguins
Wayne Gretsky for the LA Kings
Jeremy Roenick for the Chicago Blackhawks
The holy trinity

I seem to remember the girl had the best powers but wasn't a great fighter. I always played as the dwarf.

Anyone been to Osaka? Theres a street that just has shops selling retro computer games and consoles. They are cheaper than melons.
845
Everyone wanted one of those but never happened. They cost around £400 a game. Pat Cash wife was the neo geo champion if anyone can remember the Games Master episode with her in it? Just me!?
846
Mate had a Nintendo 64 and he became pretty popular when we discovered this.

Do you live out your fantasies on it?
A lot of the point and click games for the Amiga made a successful transition on the mobile.
You can play most Amiga games online like this gem...

I've always been more a fan of Transport Tycoon than Sim City - a bit less involved for people with less attention span! Downloaded OpenTTD last year and loving reliving my childhood again!

Always loved a bit of Sim Tower though;

Managed that by accident one time! XD You could also make really sharp bends after steep declines on the roller coaster and all the folk would coming flying out the carriage.
Favourite pre-PC game was the annoyingly titled Gazza II fitba game. You could set the pitch to 'icy' and literally slide tackle about 25 yards along the ground - strangely though your player never got himself injured by lunging into an ill advised challenge...
