I had some temp thing put on tooth after having an abscess cleaned out. That night I was in so much ****ing pain I would have taken anything to clear it. Im the type that would only go to the Drs as a last resort but I was on the phone to NHS24 like a mutha to try and get me something. ( nothing they could do) .
Couldn't sleep or f.uck all and had to phone in sick the next day and have an emergency dental appointment.

An NSAID such as Ibuprofen works well.
Capsules rather than tablets for faster-acting relief.
But needs topping up every couple of hours or so.

What is the meaning of life? Ooof that's some question..way beyond my intelligence. For me, that summons the question "what is the meaning of meaning" in this context and is there a need for it or a need for a so called "greater purpose"?
I'm afraid I can do no better than Monty Python or Douglas Adams, so we're stuck at 42!

The origin of life now, that's a whole different and more valid question. I'm nae much use here either but there are some incredibly clever people making strident progress on it. We know now for example that we evolved gradually over hundreds of millions of years from our early beginnings on this planet as yeast and bacteria into the intelligent primates we now are.
I say "intelligent" cautiously of course; we sapiens are the most clever and at the same time the most stupid animals ever to populate this planet.

If you can imagine a scale of human intelligence, you would have the likes of Einstein, Isaac Newton, Darwin, Hawkings, Dawkins and the late great Chris Hitchens at one end and at the other end you'd have creationists, born again Christians, the dupes of Mormonism, Jehova's witnesses etc etc whilst bam pots like thee and me would be dirlin aboot somewhere in between.

Hope your tooth is better min. Watch they fekkin dizzy pams. They are a bit fine and affa easy to get hold of. Have been using them masel' as a sleeping aid in my successful bid to emancipate masel' from alcoholism.(not that I'm counting the days but that's 77 days dry noo. Not so much as a fekkin wine gum!)
I get prescribed 7 5mg tablets a week, so that's em...yeah 1 per night but being such a pill crunching hedonist I'm more likely to have 3 one night and 4 another night...
Anyways...yadda yadda yadda
