A man who brought enjoyment to many a child was born in Llandaff

Legendary author Roald Dahl

250 million books and counting sold world wide.

Mostly known for his childrens books such as Matillda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,The BFG, Georges Marvellous Medicine among others.I think i read all his books at some point throughout school.My two favourites being The Twits and Fantastic Mr Fox.

Aye very tall man especially back then all 6ft5 of him .
I remember reading about his life certainly had a great life .

The Twits was a great read as a young loon.

Got me thinking i should go and buy a few Dahl books for my loons

Aye I'm sure I read that too need to wiki Dahl again I'm also sure he lived a simple life .

Not one of riches.
