Wow! That came round quick didn't it?

I have to be honest I thought that 175 completed passes for a football team is woeful. It takes me back to when the Sunday morning team I played for were getting hammered the morning we all got hammered. 4 down after 20 minutes we started to count our passes out load. we eventually made it to 17 and scored. We thought we were on a real winner when we scored again. We were just taking the micky out of anyone that gave tha ball away. At 4 - 3 we were knacked and ebded up losing 6 - 3 bit we deserved what we got for our alcohol consumption the night before. We weren't prepaired you see and we all took responsibility for it.

I really hope that we can turn this bad start to our season round! But is it a bad start? Have we done exactly what we are capable of with the players we have had available?

Tonight is the night when we can show everyone that we've been treading water

Evening (again) Frog.

Blackstock still not fit enough even for a sub's spot. Hope we can get Frecks on fairly soon (ie after we've scored our customary two goals but before we start to fall apart!)

Are we wrapping Blackstock in cotton wool? We need players like him in these kind of games.

Greetings to Millersmadsters around the world from a humid, hazy blue skied NYS
Think that Camp is captain tonight

I've been thinking about match fitness. What determines how match fit you are?

Brown had never played at this level but was deemed to be match fit.
Halford played a game and had an injury then he was ill but was deemed match fit
Newell had an op and commentated on Millersplayer for a few games. He trained with the first team for a week and was deemed match fit.
Blackstock does a pre season training but doesn't make the team at Forest. He's still not match fit.
Adeyemi. doesn't play much comes to us and plays then gets injured. He's now deemed match fit!

Somebody fill in the blanks for me please!

Perigord.

Only 16 more sleeps till we have some of your wifes finest Baboffee cake!

I'm going to get some good cheeses for the event! And some strong stuff to either celebrate or just get drunk!

Extra complication with Newell is that it is a different injury that is keeping him out tonight - he's dislocated a finger and also hurt his fioot

We could have a strong team if it wasn't for them pesky injuries

Evening everyone. A win tonight would be so good and hope there is a lot of singing from the Millers fans at NYS. Forest will make a lot of noise as I remember from the game last season. UTM!!

We're doing well so far.

A couple of corners for them but we're making them defend.

Taylor and Brown linking up well almost create a clear chance but the block goes for a corner

frogmiller
14-09-2016, 07:04 PM
is that their first effort on goal? Easy save for Camp

frogmiller
14-09-2016, 07:05 PM
Long throw by Halford. Allan shoots but not great.

frogmiller
14-09-2016, 07:07 PM
A chance goes begging for forest.

A string of passes!

Can we get a sot off?

Yes Ward but blocked

They counter

frogmiller
14-09-2016, 07:13 PM
A good move which sees Ward in a shooting position but too tight and it goes wide

frogmiller
14-09-2016, 07:27 PM
Camp is on song again - good save

Wilsons mistake - he gave the ball away cheaply

3 corners for forest with the latter being claimed easily by Camp

frogmiller
14-09-2016, 07:27 PM
1956 was the last time we beat Forest

Were you there CT?

frogmiller
14-09-2016, 07:30 PM
It sounds like Brown is playing really well

frogmiller
14-09-2016, 07:32 PM
Brown and Ward linking well.

We hold it up the pitch but no resulting effort on goal

I'm old, Frog, but not that old. First game I went to was in 1959.

Good to hear a round of applause from our fans as they go off. Wonder if/when Frecks will be reintroduced? Side looks fairly balanced at the moment and we haven't started to over-defend - yet...

I was 21 years after you CT. It's funny how it's taken a grip isn't it? I don't know anyone who's had mor football clubs than wives.
