I've previously criticised Chansiri for the ticket prices but after seeing the accounts last week it now all makes perfect sense. Reward the regular fans with sensible pricing, then make as much profit as possible from pay on the gate (POTG) and away supporters.

I'm not saying it's right, but how else can we comply with FFP regulations?

The strategy to convert POTG supporters to season ticket holders has paid off, and as a result our attendances and match day revenue has vastly increased.
