Best piece of business we never did.
Every time I have watched Rangers ,Tavernier has a nightmare. An awful defender.
Lovely penalty taker though 😉

Surely this is a joke. At league 1 level he would be one of the best right sided players in the league. Maybe not a right back though, but as a right midfield player, not quite a traditional winger but another Newell on the right.

Warburton at Forest looks like he may want to sign him, that`s if you believe the Nottingham Post & the Daily Mail lol.

He is a defensive nightmare.
Only way I would play him would be as a winger, in a formation that meant he didn't have to track back. In his own half, He is quite easily the worst defender I have ever seen.
Monty/Kempo your talking rubbish as usual he would walk into a lot of championship teams

Agree, ibs is talking balls..maybe not a great defender but we'll not see quality like that unless we get someone in on loan...
He was never a defender ( Phill Neville type ) he is what he is a modern day wing back ..... he went for money and good luck to him....

I thought he fitted our style of play at the time and would sign him in a heartbeat. UTM!!

Martin Scott & Colin Clish good full backs for the Millers along with Gerry Forest.

Yes Forest best fullback with Brecks, and Stanny at centre back. Those were the days. UTM!!
