Not seen enough of Murray as he's been lower league.
But I don't think he's very good

Pacy & works hard but not that much of a footballer.

Swanson is decent signing though.

As you say he's nae great and would not have improved us. Replacement for Holt at the HIV's.

The hilarious thing though is he's probably one of TSMSTID's best players - they wont be able to replace him down in the Mickey Mouse leagues.

They could be staying down there for a while at this rate - that's unless they go bust first - f'uckin shame :D:D:D

I thought Murray looked half decent at times. He'd be better than Storey. The Jutes are in some state losing him already to Hibs. Long gone are the days their top youngsters were signing for Portuguese teams for £3m.

No way the DABS are coming up.
They're financially in the sh1te.
They're reliant on Andy Robertson moving from Hull so they can coin in £750k to keep them going apparently.
They've no sellable assets.
Thomson's not putting money in
They're haemorrhaging money.

Apart from that, they're in a good state :-)

Smart business.

Do St Mirren have any sort of sell in fee clause in Kenny McLean's transfer to us?

Aberdeen really need to be better at bringing in players or developing youngsters with a view to selling them on at profit. Hayes I can only assume has a release fee in his contract in or around the £1.2 million mark which either he or his agent have made public. Players hold the majority of aces now.

We'll likely let him go for nothing, or a "nominal fee".
I wouldn't be surprised if he took Barry Robson to be his no.2?

If that is the case then I hope we put an agreement in place that we can have him/them back for the same cost as we let them go (if we are ever looking for a new manager in the future).

Surprised Garner found anyone else willing to pay him a wage for his football services and Championship level at that. Couldn't see any ability and as a hard man - he was just a wee dirty mink that is not going to be able to afford a 30k hair transplant every other month.

Would have loved to have played against him when football was still a manny's game - would have gone right through the wee fluck and taken great relish at a glimpse of his wee anguished face. Will follow the swansong part of his career at Ipswich with great scrutiny - an international call-up is only surely a matter of time...

I see the guys on Sky Sports News are w~nking themselves into a frenzy over this.

I can't even begin to explain just how much I hate these big clubs.

I've actually, the saddo that I am, submitted a complaint to the BBC today about the prominence they have given to this story on the BBC Sport website today. There is no denying this is news, as it is a potential world record transfer fee, but the number one headline item on a website whose aim should be reporting UK sports news should not be about a Brazilian player possibly moving from a Spanish club to a French club. There are some many other things going on in the UK sporting world at the moment that trump this news item.

I generally protest at the increased focus the BBC has given European leagues - if it has additional resources to give to its football coverage it could start by doing a better job of following and giving enhanced prominence to Scottish football, not least since two clubs are playing important competitive matches this midweek and since the domestic league season kicks off at the weekend.

Sky has a vested interest in bigging-up the European game as it is commercially involved in the Champions League and with La Liga coverage. The BBC is a different story altogether.

Those levels of transfers fee's are completely unsustainable. There is no chance that PSG will ever make that money back. Sky saying it will be nearer 450M as well, by the time its all completed. 450 MILLION... just let that sink in. So if he has to pay the buy out clause himself, PSG have to give him the €222m to pay it, surely the Spanish taxman will say, hey Neymar, you've just earned €222m income, you have to pay income tax on that, which would be about another €100m.

That would be the second biggest transfer fee ever, he's not worth anything near that, even in this ridiculously overinflated transfer market.

I'm sure I heard on the radio that Spurs signed someone from Ajax for £50m and might be selling Danny Rose for £50m as well.

That Mbappe boy goes to PSG for 160m quid rising to more than Neymar. He has had one good season .400m total spending in this window, with Neymar and Dani Alves raking in a million a week between them. Obviously they will just pay the Financial Fair Play fine the are inevitably going to get like they did last time

Dembele from Dortmund to Barcelona potential 130m after he had one good season.

The second and thirds most expensive players ever yet have not even got 100 competitive games between them

Its f@cking crazy and shows football is f@cked

Also noticed Oliver Burke managed to fail at Leipzig and his overall game was openly criticized by his employers and was pretty much permanently on the bench yet gets a transfer back to guffball for 2m more than he went to Germany for. Never mind he will be a permanent figure for Starchan now hes a guffballer

The deal is they get him on loan then sign him next summer for 166m. So basically PSG have looked the books after agreeing the deal and thought "sh@te FFP" and have made this deal instead. How much are monaco getting off the record for that. Its crooked as f@ck

Interesting to see what happens if hes sh@te

It's very dodgy, Monaco must be getting some sort of bung or something to agree a loan.

Must be one of the longest loans in football history, what is that now, 2.5 years?

Signing a player they can never afford who would obviously do a job for 2.5 years on two seperate loans is pretty well played by the horrible c@nts.

You would think he would want to join a club permanently instead of being on yet another loan. Or maybe he is a bit thick.

The Mbappe to PSG transfer is even dodgier than we thought. It is officially a loan with an option to buy next year. If they had said it was a loan with an obligation to buy (which it is really) they would have been in trouble with the financial fair play rules.
