I see Villa visit Hull, City of Culture 2017 early in the season.

Fans can take advantage of the cultural sightseeing tours the City Council are running. Coaches leave Hull Town Hall on the hour and drive straight to York.

Hull winning the UK's 'City of Culture' 2017 must rank as the most surprising choice since Adolf Hitler nomination for a 'Nobel Peace Prize’ in 1943. http://www.animatedimages.org/data/media/35/animated-eye-image-0033.gif (http://www.animatedimages.org/cat-eyes-35.htm)

It's a funny game to start with. Could be a 6 pointer. A win would be huge and a loss quite a confidence killer. My only concern is the way we finished the season and was a bit of a damp squib. Surely it should be squid? I'm don't know what a squib is?
Anyway with the imminent arrival of JT the club should have a big lift and might well attract a few more decent signings. Let's hope hull loose a few key players this summer not they dropped a division.

A 6 pointer . Oh dear.

The season hasn't even started and Bingo you've claimed it could be a 6 pointer.

Bongo predicts The opening game of a 46 game competition as a six pointer !

Bit early for you to be anticipating a relegation 6 pointer. Still you know your club better than I do.

PS A squib is a firework. I don't think a marine creature being damp to somehow fit the bill.

I mean a 6 pointer for promotion. Hull should be one of the better championship sides like Villa.

samhubball

Each game is a 6 pointer. It's the 12 pointers you should care about. Or each is a 12 pointer and some are 24 pointers.

Gets a bit ridiculous from 124 to 248 but amazing you can be relegated with nigh on a million points. Football eh!? Crazy

Hang on a minute have I been abducted by aliens or what, I thought it was 3 Pts for a win?

samhubball
24-06-2017, 09:49 AM
It is still currently 3 points for a win but the FA are in contact with Bongo over which games he believes should be awarded 6 points.

They are also consulting him over the possibility of introducing the yeti of the match award and whether or not Australia should be banned from football for playing upside down on a flat earth

I could reply that to assume your first game is a promotion 6 pointer is rather arrogant or deluded of any football fan especially as your team finished bottom half last season. However in your case I think its blind optimism. Do you actually believe what you post or are they meant to amuse?i

Do us a favour Bongo don't ever change.

I'm not sure it's deluded. I think most villa fans think will give a better account of ourselves this season. Like Dave said in another post were no longer searching for a new manager or chairman that have a season behind them. I think we're favourite to get promoted by the bookies. Who knows though and time will tell.

TrianonDave
25-06-2017, 09:32 PM
I'm with you on this one bongo. A far better season. Last year the bookies were saying mid table or even double dip well, they were almost right! Let's hope they are right this time!

Where are the goals going to come from though peeps? We were 3rd or 4th worst in the division last season and Brucie had enough games to try & find a formula.

Grealish 9
Adomah 6
Landsbury 4
Jedi 3
Green 3
Terry?
Gabby 1 as usual v sha

Total= 76 still not enough unless we have many clean sheets?

Gabby 14

Yeh right !
So you reckon Agonawol will score 14 (after a 14-month scoring drought)
http://www.animatedimages.org/data/media/1309/animated-laughing-image-0044.gif (http://www.animatedimages.org/cat-laughing-1309.htm)

This ain't never gonna happen, Agbonlahor: has racked up more Yellow & Red Cards than Goals Since 2010 yes its sad but true since 2010 as-per your being ludicrously optimistic Gabby couldn't finish a 2 piece jig-saw

But its not all bad news A V F C only have another 52 instalments @ £55,000 to find http://www.animatedimages.org/data/media/431/animated-cheerleader-image-0075.gif (http://www.animatedimages.org/cat-cheerleader-431.htm)

Villa have no chance of selling Agonawol unless there's a monumental increase in the market for “Non scoring strikers”

Keep ‘em coming Bongo !

Its a pity gabby isn't paid on a goals per game basis http://www.animatedimages.org/data/media/35/animated-eye-image-0253.gif (http://www.animatedimages.org/cat-eyes-35.htm) he'd owe A V F C a fortune

Its not too much sun Bongo is suffering from- just an inordinate measure of Calamari T D

Does anyone get the feeling that Mr Villa alias Gabby is running the club? Has he spread the dirt on Ross so the best striker apart from Koj makes him important, does he hate the French? Gabby seems to have had more managers than goals scored!!!!!!!

No Nonsense Steve Bruce comes but buckles under Gabby pressure, one minute he's overweight and out on loan (nearly) the next he in the starting line up, leading our attack.

Just what the heck is going on down VP these days???

bongosdad
29-07-2017, 09:18 AM
Gabbys not running anything Dave. He's knuckled down and done what's asked. Bruce and Tony will ship him out immediately if he doesn't tow the line. Gabbys fully aware he needs to earn another contract.
Gabby has nothing to do with McCormack leaving. He's been poor and heads gone. I'm not sure where you got that story from. Fake news!

Ok if gabby scores less than 15 goals this season I will donate £20 to charity.

TrianonDave
29-07-2017, 09:31 AM
15 goals?? are you sure? You are a very generous man giving a little sum away, may as well give it now as he will never score 15 in a season. In fact he has only ever done this once, when under Mon he scored 16 in 2009 when we had Ashley and big John Carew up front with him.
I would put him down for under 5 league goals only? Sorry Bongo but I don't think you will get any support on this statement. Who is your chosen charity? Hand it over

The problem here is fools are so confident in themselves

http://www.picgifs.com/smileys/smileys-and-emoticons/ill/smileys-ill-707925.gif (http://www.picgifs.com/smileys/)

Anyone of a sound state of mind would steer well clear of making such a foolish statement.

Its a prime example of “ A fool & His money”
