I will make a contribution. I was thinking of suggesting something similar with the following differences-
- Only 5 albums
- Limited to 1 album per artist
I have thought about it. Not very easy. The difficulty is deciding what albums to leave out

Note how lacking we are in soul, reggae & disco albums. Whilst I don't like every album mentioned and, indeed, haven't heard of some of them, we all seem to lean in the right direction.

There is no such Jam album called News Of The World Mickd that is in fact a b side and never appeared on a studio album other than later compilation albums when the band had split.

Oh BTW Queen did release a very good Album entitled News Of The World in 1977!

I'd struggle trying to pick me top 100, let alone top 10 . I love my Music but there is no way I could condense all the stuff I like into a top ten!!

Cheers Q and Evo.

My mistake, like I said,I was never a massive collector of albums, always more interested in singles tbh.

I have a recollection of what year most popular singles were hits between around 1971 through to about 1987 when music meant the most to me but since getting married in 88 and having kids etc I've completely lost the plot!

As to today's "on trend"artists and music I'm completely lost.

That said I love Lady Gaga's music and I've always liked Gwen Stefani's stuff but really I'm stuck in 1978!!

Like I said, as far as music is concerned imagine yourself being permanently restricted to just 5 albums. Only one for any artist. It is so difficult deciding what to leave out. Well, I think it is!
