Having lost to part timers on the field yesterday Rangers have lost their long standing HMRC case.
This has implications for all football clubs who used employment benefit trusts to pay players tax free; notably several (up to15) PL clubs in England as it sets a precedent that will generate income for HMRC.

HMRC won't get anything from Rangers as it's now run by a new company.
However Celtic are now looking for the SFA to strip Rangers of 5 titles they won in the period the old club used EBTs.
Having a good week aren't they!

The Jocks have always been good at kicking the Gers when they are down!
