BBC Wages.

BBC Scotland full-time 'stars' should be earning between £24,000 and £36,000 a year, on a sliding scale, licence payers have agreed.

As the BBC reveals the pay of stars earning more than £150,000 a year in England, they have backed a maximum pay level of about a quarter of that for BBC Scotland jobs that mostly involve reading out things that have been written by someone else.

Jacob Rees Mugg said: “That is plenty, especially for a job where they’re working one or two hour-long shifts, and some of those only once a week.

“Why does Jackie Bird need that kind of money when all she’s doing is chatting for two minutes with the likes of fatboy Brian Taylor and creepy Judith Ralston? My 14-year-old daughter would do it for free. And be less obsequious. Even Prince Charles could do it.

“Chris McLaughlin just talks pish about football with some football people in Glasgow except Rangers. Does it really matter who is actually commentating? People watch ALBA for the live football not the people talking Gaelic.

But Kheredine Insane must have the best job in Scotland. Maybe not the highest earner but the globe-trotting tennis reporter has the plum all-expenses paid job to follow Andy Murray everywhere to exotic locations from Wimbledon, Australia to USA etc. But he also has the onerous task of preparing a one minute no-brainer report on Reporting Scotland now and again and totting up his expenses.

Rees Mugg added: “So-called Scottish 'radio 'stars' should be on zero hour contracts. They just read stuff straight off a piece of paper. For all we know they’re just sitting at home in their string vests and pants like Rab Nesbitt and doing it all on Skype.”

Got home about 8.30 and stuck the radio on, hadn't realised the living ugly sister was playing tonight and quickly switched off. Had something to eat then put the radio back on about 9.20 thinking there would be, after the commentary game, at least a 'let's go to Central Park for a report on Cowdenbeath v Dundee'.

Nothing, no mention of it existing, just these overpaid morons arguing about if Celick were terrible, or Pat 'super moron' Bonner arguing that they were brilliant. Embarrassing from so called BBC SCOTLAND!

And, as I type Jackie used to be a burd tells the score of the Celick game but they are so lazy that about 3.1 seconds to say 'there was one other game on in Scotland tonight Cowdenbeath 0 Dundee 3....FFS!

They need replaced from the top down and made to develop a spine, tell the people of the country the truth, and stop pandering to all things Celick, and in particular pretending 'the zombies' are the same team, and more than that deserve to still be permitted to participate.

These people want to break from the English news, but they are doing exactly the same, with there bias towards the west coast
