In an ideal world, aye, he pays back his mum, drops price of club dramatically, someone comes in with some business knowledge and hopefully a few quid behind them, punts Southern and Martin and the rest of the parasites including arab trust and we start again. Clean slate, give Ray to Christmas see how we are playing, if its not happening then bring someone else in, i.e Wright.

But none of the above will happen, except paying back mummy, thats a bricker to happen...

According to the BBC sport site, it doesn't sound like we will be getting the full lump sum in a oner, more like installments over 2-3 years. Not that the manager is likely to see any of it anyway..

Any player who came from the Scottish 3rd division to be our stand-out performer ahead of Armstrong, Gauld, GMS and Ciftci in our team that season was always going to do well. But to make the step up to such a fantastic club has to give so many young players hope that you can never give up on your dreams. I'm so delighted for the boy. Watching him playing in a team with Coutinho, Salah, Mane, Firmino etc will be surreal but I'm certain he will, as always, be up to the challenge.
