ligament damage that will take time to heal so not looking good. Ray says he we need another striker. Hopefully this will accelerate it.

Big blow ahead of the fun game and early league games, his delivery etc will be missed

I thought he played quite well last night.

Me too, he just needs to notch against the Blue Brazil on Sunday. A bit more confidence, a bit more fitness.
Looks like we'll need him to lead the line just now but it would be good to have someone extra in place for the Fun.
Tho I think our better signings/loans are going to happen towards the end of the window when players holding out for bigger moves realise it's not happening & have to lower their sights.
Keatings getting crocked robs us temporarily too of our corner taker, Durnan benefited from a well taken one last night.

I'd quite like to see Durnan lead the line while Keatings injured. Think we've got enough cover at the back.

his movement is good - always looking for gap and through ball. I am holding my opinion back as he may just be short of match fitness.

Big news players for us though will be McMullan, King, Keatings (depends how long out), Briels, Scobbie and Stanton. Seems astute business from Ray. Early days yes but they are all players that can make a big difference this season.

Was surprised how many made the trip - met a couple of utd fans from buckie too!

Early days. Wasn't at the game myself but I take it you were? 3 posters after your post obviously were and were quite positive about how he played.

rusty but with promise. thats my view - hopeful but want him up to speed. rest are excellent signings in my opinion. Pity about keatings his link up play is good...maybe no as bad as feared???

im in danger of being positive ....:O (how did i manage to put an emoji on whitfields post? cool)

Anyone know why Durnan didnt come out for the second half? Scobbie didnt look too out of place on the right of defence though. Hopefully Quinn can now be handed the contract, unless hes gone already!

Really liked how King and McMullan were switching around and showed that it does work if the players are capable of it. Gutted about Keatings as Stanton and him looked like they were able to link well, as did Keats and King.

N'Koyi though! I hope its just lack of fitness as i wasnt impressed.

I also dont like how we took the foot off the throttle as i would have liked another goal or 3 second half!

Media report - Keatings out for up to 6 weeks.
In the act of shooting his standing foot (left foot) caught in the turf & he damaged ankle ligaments.

a big blow but less than i thought it may be. back to having one striker (who isnt 100% yet)- ffs. at least we have wingers and i am liking stanton. Fraser can fill that no10 gap (allegedly).
