"They are bringing on multi-million pound players and we are bringing on young kids, but that is West Brom."
Tony Pulis after the game against Leicester yesterday....

Quite a lot of multi million pound players are really shyte in my view. Play the youngsters so Tony....and leave the Chadlis of this world on the bench....if we are destined for the drop...then so be it.....I find the transfer window a very depressing time not cause we never really get involved in it but because of the obscene amounts of money paid out for footballers...

But that is one West Brom fan's view......:P

He'll never play them he had 10 or so nothing games at the end of last season to give them a run but didn't. I can't see when he will. He clearly doesn't rate them. Leko made one error after that he was never given the opportunity to learn from it.

What error are you referring to for Leko?

Was it the game against Palace where he lost the ball to Andros Townsend, who then went from his own box up the left side of the pitch and scored?

I wouldn't blame him for that goal; there were 9 other out-field players + Foster to stop him! All players lose the ball at some time or other, even those that cost millions.

I was really pleased to see the youngsters getting a game; there are good prospects among them.

Yes that error mate. I didn't blame him but he didn't get a decent sniff of a game after that. So someone did. Other than Field what other youngsters got a run ?

If you're good enough your old enough!

To my eye Young Field looks a decent prospect,a far better range of passing than our killer "plodder" Yacob.

That said,Claudio has an uncanny knack of being in the right place at the right time,he's not much of a footballer with no pace,no vision and a limited passing range but he's top class at positional play which buys him a lot of time and saves our necks time and again.

I'll bet any money that neither Field or Leko will break through this season.... or next......not at B71 anyway.

The thing that is really holding Leko back is the size of our squad, he should have gone out on loan for at least part of last season, where he would have leant when to keep the ball and when to release the ball to a player in a better position, instead he was stuck on our bench, yes i agree he should have been used more particularly at the end of the season, but he will learn a lot more if he plays regular first team games in the championship, at the moment again our squad is not big enough to let him go on loan again this season.

Wouldn't disagree with any of that plus he is our only midfielder who can put a tackle in.
