As Gabby per Bongo rules. Hogan scored to fair and square goals whilst Gabby got the benefit of poor refereeing, 3rd rate goalkeeping and defending to wobble passed the goalie and take 30 odd years to tee up his shot into the empty net.

Thought Hogan did ok today, he has an eye for a goal, we have to feed him. Gabby is a bulldozer, no skill but plenty of puff. He just runs into/through players and can’t take em on or tackle em. Last 5 mins of a losing game at most, too risky otherwise, rampaging yellow card on legs.

Right. Hogan had creative players around him at Brentford. SB has to make sure Lansbury and Hourihane can do their jobs instead of being defensive cover.

100%, Gabby is awful and needs to make way for the obvious talent coming through.

A mate of mine who's a Hull fan rates Elmo really highly, gives 100% every game and can make things happen. His play today looked good, and better than Adomah for me. Hogan looks deadly, strong, quick and right place right time - we just need to be bit less panicky at times when we get the ball off the opposition.

Give Hogan, Hourihane and elmo a good chance. I'm confident in them

Blimey Gabby scores again and still gets stick. Let's hope Gabby Hogan and Kodjia all get a good goal return this season.
Gabby has the bit between his teeth now so let's stop giving him stick. Like it or not he's going to be a major part of the team this season if it's starting or off the bench.

Gabby is playing for a new Contract. Simples. Don't be fooled!

That's fine with me as long as he's doing what's expected.

I also read that Gabby was given man of the match by the tournament officials

Well Mr Villa & the referee exchanged plenty of dialogue, he was warned for his “handbags at dawn” squaring up to a player, plus several conversations about Gabby taking the legs from beneath opponents in what he believes passes as challenging for the ball -difficult to pick a stellar performance though Chris Samba just about edged it over the referee

In the execution of his goal Gabby’s touch/technique was about as subtle as a shark attack

The “Final” was in equivalence to the “Semi-Final” a non event,

The Semi-Final produced some satisfactory individual performances Elmo, Hogan, Doyle-Hayes & Callum O’Hare all produced creditable displays http://www.picgifs.com/smileys/smileys-and-emoticons/sports/smileys-sports-486022.gif (http://www.picgifs.com/smileys/)

Bong that's because he blatantly fouled the defender to gain possession and then did everything he could do not to score, he'd get away with neither in the league. He mugged Villa with his 4 year deal last time round, the same won't happen again.

I wish we could have seen his face when the keeper palmed the ball away from him and it somehow ended up at his feet again. I bet it was sheer surprise.

He was man of the match Yeah, voted by referees who thought his mugging of a defender was a fine tackle. Meanwhile the real Villa fans felt that Hogan, ElMo, Doyle-Hayes, Samba, Terry all stood out as having better performances. But keep wearing those rose tinted glasses.

No that's the perspective you get when your not bitter and angry about a player.
You could say the same thing about MON

Bongo - take off your I :heart:Gabby t-shirt and hat, and have a good look at that goal with a critical eye, I am not bitter at all about Gabby. The facts speak for themselves, he has taken us for a ride for the last 4 years and he knows it.

You could say the same thing about MON Not bitter or angry, mate. I hope Gabby does well for us, because it means we are doing well, but the truth is he won't because he hasn't done well for us for too long now.

So apart from the extra weight he brings to the scrums, and the loss of profit to pay his excessive wages.

What does Gabby bring to the team Bingo?
