Sounds like he had a very decent outing today. I hope we can develop him for us. Seems like a good player.

Same here Statesey, a lot of teams do well with the same safe hands behind them for a few years so maybe the Johnstone loan is SB's plan to bring Jed in next year.

Well, if we get promoted then no, he won't put our Premier league status in the hand of a keeper with a few Championship games and none or maybe one for Villa.

Maybe not but all make the step up at one time or another.

If we get promoted Johnstone will stay. If we don't he will probably leave to a Premiership club and would give Steer an opportunity. It's hard being a no 2. It seems such a waste of talent sitting on the bench.
