Cathro must be on a sticky wicket.

I'd like to see the whole lot emptied . . . Ann Budge, Craig Levine, Ian Cathro and of course the former Dens Spoofer.

The Hearts fans have done their bit with 8,000 signing for an average £15 a month direct debit, which was supposed to last a couple of years and is now for evermore.

The new £14m stand and the necessary sales of their entire young squad from just three years ago, Neilson got out and instead of having a team on the park, they will have a new main stand to be paid for by Hearts fans.

Hearts will struggle in the bottom six this season and be lucky to avoid relegation.

His "disappointing result in the context of the current tournament" comment smacks of a wee bit of arrogance and reminds me of somebody recently associated with the mighty Dee.

Hearts wont go DOON but look the weakest of the bigger 5 to me.

The only saviour for Hearts will be the opening up of the EFL & EPL to Scottish clubs which will see them with increased income in the EFL of £100 million per season . . . and double in the EPL.

The Bill should become law in September when the FA are forced to comply with Competition Law.

It's a BOSMAN for the clubs.

It's shameful that Dundee's owners have shown no interest and are considering an 8,000 capacity 'junior' stadium next to the ice rink instead.

Come back and tell us when the Scottish Clubs get an invite to join. You appear to be the only person in Scotland talking about this. Wonder why that might be?

The clubs have already been invited, but the snap General Election delayed the Bill going through Parliament until September.

You should be aware that Dundee FC was the only club notified who did not reply. John Nelms knows.

It will be headline news in a few weeks, but not in Dundee as you need a 20,000 capacity stadium.

Killie grabbed the final place . . . Rugby Park is 18,000 and can be increased.

Was it you that invited them?

The Motion debated and approved

"That this House has no confidence in the ability of the Football Association (FA) to comply fully with its duties as a governing body, as the current governance structures of the FA make it impossible for the organisation to reform itself; and calls on the Government to bring forward legislative proposals to reform the governance of the FA."

This is about the FA's ability to act as a governing body and says nothing about inviting foreign teams to compete in their league. A vote of no confidence is not carte blanche for every club within ear shot to demand a piece of the pie.

The UK Government’s Bill with legislation will force the FA to comply with UK Competition Law and to admit
six top Scottish football clubs into the English Leagues when the Bill is finally introduced in the Commons in September.

Essentially, in UK & EU Competition law, football is a business undertaking and a club should be free to provide its services as a football club to the buyers of such services anywhere in the UK. The buyers are, principally, the organisers of domestic football league tournaments, who distribute shares of revenue in return.

The EFL & EPL are cartels that have abused their dominant position on UK football markets through rules which exclude clubs that do not play their home games in England or Wales.

The Court would not require Scottish clubs to enter at the bottom of the English National League System. The victim of a civil wrong must, so far as the court can, be put in the position it would have been had the wrong not been committed.

If the FA have, indeed, been saying NO consistently for over 16 years, then the clubs have been wronged continuously since, at least, 2000 when the Act came into force. Had Scottish clubs been admitted then, where, is it likely, they would be now?

With evidence of their past achievements, domestically and in Europe, their gates and their revenues, there would be a strong argument that they should be admitted to the Championship, at least.

The select committee chairman is again Damien Collins MP. The new committee members will be appointed in the next few weeks after the summer recess . . . and the Bill will become law in September.
