It's like Ryan Kent all over again. Probably just as well that we don't have lots of strikers because if Pele has to play, there's going to be a scapegoat as hammill was last season.

If Pele scores a bucket load and contributes to the team then great. Everybody happy. On the other hand he could be another devante cole and drive the fans potty.

It's doing these deals to play a certain percentage of games that is tipping the scales in our favour, nothing else

He says he thinks Barnsley have promised him to play but he doesn't know that for certain

True but I'd say that maccas thoughts are likely to be correct.

Does coming on as a sub count as playing time?

Wouldn't think Chelsea would want him to or insist he plays in every game. He is 18 and will need developing and looking after not run into the ground.

True swazer Chelsea know bfc is best for him in his development obviously they wouldn't have let him come if they thought that it would stop his progress

It'll be more likely that the deal is to play him in 60% of the games, similar to Kent last season

At that % Macca would have signed him if he could!
It seems Macc's frustrated with his lack of activity in the transfer window!
