I thought that we had got rid of gender! They should be known as Arsenal Rather Would Not Say FC ---keep everybody happy

The explanation is incomprehensible to me. I suppose it isn't Arsenal Lords and Ladies teams but Men and Women's but they will just use Arsenal until, they need to differentiate - like I suppose in the Champions Cup.

Is there to be an Arsenal Others team as well and will there now be HABS (husbands and boyfriends ) as well as WAGS camp followers.

I read somewhere last week that a couple have recently refused to insert either "boy or girl" on the newly born's birth certificate. Nothing like giving a child an early choice to make!

........so then the parents will choose the clothes for him/her to wear ? ''Life is difficult sometimes to make a choice?''

.....laughing all the way to my Breakfast table. :-) ;-).....so complicated our lives are becoming ,and in life there must be progress.

'' Can there be progress in life?''

I have just been informed by my wife (who knows all about this stuff!) is that gay women do not like being referred to as "ladies"! Hence the insistence on "Arsenal Women".

This is the Arsenal Women's new centre forward doing warm ups pre-match...

Shouldn't it be Arsenal Wimmin anyway ? And you can always niggle them by continuing to refer to them as Arsenal Ladies, which I shall do in the unlikely event I ever mention them at all in future. It's linesmen, Notts Forest and Arsenal Ladies for me, feck 'em.

I always thought that gay wimmin didn't like 'women' because it contains the word 'men'.

First race tonight at Salisbury is for 'Gentleman Amateur Riders'. In this day and age wouldn't it be much more appropriate if it just said 'For t'Lads' ?
