Glad to see Sam Fied playing.

His dad Trevor is good mates with a friend of mine who deals in cars and I ended up buying an old banger for my lad that the dealer's daughter was learning to drive in and she in turn has had Sam Field's Vauxhall Polo as he's upgraded to a Merc!

Must be off the YTS wages then!!?

Agree, don't take too much notice of friendly results. However, I think that we all realise that we need quality recruits or a difficult season lies ahead. I don't buy in to Pulis' comments regarding the difficulties of the transfer window. If you're determined enough to get a player, you can usually get him if you're prepared to pay the asking price or that little bit extra. We don't do this and this is why we have difficulties.

Was planning on going to the friendly at Slough Town but had to cancel due to other commitments.

Just wondered whether anyone actually watched either game in person or via a live feed.

If so what were your thoughts regarding fitness, team balance and overall performance please.

Cheers in advance.

In passing I just thought I'd mention that second string ALBION lost 2-1 to Slough Town on Saturday.
