For me the Championship is his measure Wolf, the Premier League is IMO one step too far for him, a few on here like him especially if he gets better service which to be honest he has not had here, but for me he snatch's at chances, has little vision and his first touch can be awful, hopefully he'll be with you soon fella.

Alto, Alto, Alto, - that is not how you negotiate upwards.

It goes more like this!

Hi Evewolf65 - you lot must be barking mad if you think we would part with our star striker to a championship club for a paltry £20 mill.

Listen this lad is worth double that as you well know! He is a natural finisher, his first touch is immaculate and he guarantees you goals. Dyche loves his work ethos and the way that Andre gels the team together so he is not going to sell him at any price.

Move on and find yourself a decent championship striker for that money!

Got it now Alto?

Of course, of course we would not dream of disrespecting Lancashires finest with a derogatotory bid!

Do not think your flattery (albeit very nice) will hold much sway with your ability to prise away our jewel from the crown.

However because your approach is friendly I will politely listen to what you have to say (and then decline!)

Plus I have heard you are getting a Brazilian?

Evewolf65

The Brazilian was a mistake I didn't know what Imac was and neither did she/ he honest!!

I don't know about that?

£20 million quid sounds a lot but Andre will score 20 goals plus in the Championship and that effectively gets you promoted like it did for us.

Forget all the negatives on here, I wish he would commit to another four year deal with us but he won't.

Let's bank it sign a couple and move on...

Bit of a paradox is Andre, worth £20m of a Championship team's money, he'll get them promoted, not worth jack**** to a struggling PL team, he won't keep them up.

Who said we didn't ?

You did.

Well you didn't outright say it, but by saying he won't keep a struggling PL team up, the logical extension of that is that if he has played a season for such a team they must have been relegated.

Or are you saying that he could last season, but he won't in future?

sinkov
30-07-2017, 08:26 PM
You did.

Well you didn't outright say it,

So you concede I didn't say it, thank you. And would it be possible to stick to what I did say in future instead of fuzzy 'logical extensions' which is nothing more than putting words in my mouth.

Fine.

You said he won't keep a struggling PL team up. He already has done so you are wrong.

Fine.

You need to check your facts Prim, he didn't keep us up, if you knock of all the goals he scored, forget every single one, ignore them, pretend they were never scored, revise the results, and we would still have stayed up. Which is exactly the point I was making in my post, which you seem to have missed completely, his goals didn't keep us up, they were irrelevant, but I doubt we'd have been promoted out of the Championship without his 25 the season before.

Can you see the logic now ?

You're getting boring now Prim, you've lost this one, find someone else to have a trivial argument with.

You don't get to decide who has lost the argument. I think you'll find that I've actually won it.

I look back to the Liverpool game when he lit Turf Moor up and then some gobby Scouser dobbed him into the quaint old FA who then set Gray back six months.

His technique might not be reminiscent of Pele but he certainly knows where the net is. 9 goals from 32 games when his head was up his arse is not that bad IMHO!

I wish he would just settle down, get his raise and stay with us!

I don't need to take my time with it, I've already debunked it. His goals on their own might not have kept us up, but without his assists as well we would have gone down. Your original post never mentioned his goals, it just said he won't keep a team in the PL. If we ignore the goals Michael Keane scored, we would still have stayed up as well, does that mean he didn't keep us up either?

Every one of the squad last season helped in keeping us in the PL, so every one of them has earned the right to be considered good enough for the PL.

Sounds like Wolves now think he's too expensive just when their fans were drooling over getting him.
