Meaningless.
Dundee played utd off the park .
You know that and so do I.
The draw we wanted.
The draw you didn't want.
Bring it on.

It's was strong enough to dominate the game.
I think the bbc stats will confirm that.
United did ok against their superior neighbours but only ok.
Not on the same level as Dundee.
Never posed a threat.

To be fair we didn't pose much of a threat most of the game but that isn't surprising as we didn't have a striker on the pitch.

Have a look at the bbc stats offshore.
Never in danger. The question was could dundee win it.
Just didn't get the winner but never in danger.
Dundee had the class and the opportunities.
United skipped about and tried hard.Played well for them but never at any time did anyone in the ground believe they could win.
A draw was a good result for utd.
You guys remind me of england fans always going to win the world cup and crying for months when it doesn't happen.

I should point out that the only thing dundee united beat dundee at stats wise was FOULING.
Buts that's what dundee united do.

You guys remind me of england fans always going to win the world cup and crying for months when it doesn't happen. same as how you guys usually win your first couple of league games and proclaim 'this is your year' yet fall into the bottom 6 pish category ?

ianharab

Until the last 20 you didn't pose much of threat either and against a weakened team , says more about your failings than ours

ianharab

Stats are great things , remember tho you can have as much o the ball as you like but if there is no end product , which for long spells there wasn't , it means the square root o **** all

Shedka will probably correct me but did the FUN not lose 11 of their last 14 games or something like that. If it wasn't for them getting a wee bit of a "new manager bounce" at the tail end of the season they'd be doon.

"never posed a threat" ??????

we scored a goal, which suggests that at one point we not only posed a threat, that threat was executed, no? didn't we also hit the post? we had a couple of other half chances, if we get a striker or two fit for the next game we might actually score 2 or 3. B) ;D

You are doon and will stay doon on the evidence of the team of midgets and softies skipping about dens

Maybe why they thought Durnan was so bad is that he was carrying all that dead weight for most of the game.

Durnan and 'excellent 'at football are conflicting statements.
Durnan and 'Big fat dumpling' go together.

The Moose did well for being half fit.
When he is a bit leaner he will be meaner .
Feed the Moose when next it comes around.
There is no rational argument placing Durnan in the excellent at football category.
He is a big pudding

Well all I can say is that Ray outfoxed Neil! After all his mouthing he got the brush off. He was Ray narded. Have to find a meaning for 'nard?' Dens are where foxes are supposed to stay, but because their pelage matches the colours of United's, it had to go!
