Bongo surely that's a 451 formation? well one thing is for sure, with that team we won't concede and we won't score!!

After witnessing Steve Bruce setting up A V F C I.e V Watford

Talk about timid & cagey- ONE up front ! at home in a meaningless friendly

It would come as no surprise if he decides not to field any striker (so Gabby may get the nod ) which would allow Bruce to play Samba in front of the back 4

Include “boot it Bacuna” to the midfield in an attempt to stifle the life out of Hull

Then pray we score from a set piece

A word of warning

With Mr (super cautious) Bruce continually opting for containment instead of an offensive approach, Villa may pick up points….. however I feel there will be an immense demand for Amphetamines amongst our followershttp://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/sleep/yawning.gif (http://www.sherv.net/)

…. ‘Cause unless S B has a revolutionary tactical reversal we definitely ain't gonna be exciting to watch

No, but it does look like a really good tally chart, good curve with a mean of only 2 deviations, from the mean, I guess you could say, an excellent bell chart (with no bellends in there) mainly as Gabby I presume is on the bench?

ps kiss of death, Bookmakers making us favourites to be top scorers in the championship with Koj and Hogan, top scorer out right is Koj at 7/1 Bongo stick a quid on gabby, he is 100/1

That's reasonable T D some http://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/swearing/knucklehead.gif (http://www.sherv.net/)

Entered Villa in a bleak prospect of a seeing a return on a £55,000 a week wager on the "non scoring (cough) Striker" weighing in

Were still waiting for some sort of return

That's based on his pre season form, I'm sure they will throw that out to 500/1 after 6 games!

But, I think Bruce will play Hourihane and Gabby instead of McC and Hogan. Big mistake IMO

Where's Koj ?

Koj will miss at least 6 games so maybe end of September?

Grealish could be out till the New Year!!

With only Gabby and Hogan up front, I think it would be best to keep hold of Big Mac till at least January.

Well you can drop Ross Mac from your teams, Looks like old Potato head is that desperate to get rid of him he has finally agreed a 'LOAN' deal with Sunderland today and they expect him to be in the Mackams line to face Derby on Friday night?

All I can say, with 11 million in the pocket, Bruce must be confident of getting someone in as we are starting the season with Gabby up front OMG!!
So much for the @doors still open' and 'we want 8 million and no Loans' Bruce your looking silly now especially as Sunderland fans think they have a 'Great Signing' in Ross Mac and yes I think they have, still we kept Gabby eh....BIG Sigh!!!!!!!

I will be the first to say it....Bruce out.

Not seen that Dave, apart from unreliable sources (click bait). Still, sometimes wild rumours come true i.e. JT. Wouldn't surprise me in this climate tho. There better be a loan fee if true.

This rumour might just give 'ULL' City the hurry up on a transfer or any other suitors.

According to the Sunderland Echo today:

Sunderland hopeful of sealing loan swoop for Aston Villa's Ross McCormack http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/football/sunderland-afc/sunderland-hopeful-of-sealing-loan-swoop-for-aston-villa-s-ross-mccormack-1-8682815
