I didn't know Bobby Gould's lad was coaching the young keepers.

Coaches all the keepers.

Not surprised you hadn't heard though Chris, he's only been with us since Feb' 2015 :) .

John Gould's son Matt plays in goal for Stourbridge and his dad and sometimes Bobby come to watch.

We try not to mention the coffin too often!

His dad is a bag of nerves watching Matt.....the lad dropped a b o l l o c k in one match last season and his dad f u c k e d off and left the ground in dispair.

Like I often did when watching Bobby's team!!

It was rather a daft post by me. I've never known who coaches the Albion keepers!

At least Warwickshire, sorry Birmingham are doing well in the 20 over bash!

Thanks Q it was a great game over two days...they played the same team today in the quarter final of The Royal London U17's Cup and won easily...he had orders to go out and smash it...after 2.5 overs they had 25 runs 1 wide and the other 24 to the lad...they made the total with half the overs left... now in the semi-final...don't know the opposition yet.

Looks like the lad has a great future in the game. I used to struggle to get 24 in a season when I played, and that was only local league!

He seems to have a natural aptitude for the game, when he was just 4yo he came with a little drawing with all the matchstick men in their positions and said "I just want to play cricket when I grow up Grandad"...still got the drawing somewhere, save it to embarrass him with it later...

18 year old goalkeeper bost his 5th metatarsal in his first training session with us so will so won't see much of him for a while. Seems a bit of a strange one as we are pretty well stocked with young goalkeepers (Palmer, Ross, Keranovic, Biddle, house)
