I wonder if Rondon is missing because of the political unrest in Venezuela, he still has close kin out there I believe, strange one all the same

You have to say it's not the best preseason we have ever had poor results, players getting injured and the usual lack of transfer activity, lets hope by a week on Saturday we get some of the injured players fit because if we don't get points on the board early on it's going to be a big struggle this season.

Is McManaman injured or has he gone?

I'm going away for just over two weeks soon. When I come back TP will have got the 4 or 5 signings he says are needed, the injury 'niggles' will have cleared up and a solid start to the season will have been made. Happy days.

PS What about Warwick last night?
:)

PPS That kit sounded a shocker. I never minded the use of dark blue shorts but red!

On the contrary, I think that the navy and white stripes with red shorts and socks looked good. The problem is, despite the fact that I like it, the away kit should be completely different to the home kit. To have a third strip is unnecessary and a 'rip off' in my opinion so I'm pleased we haven't gone for that option.

I refuse to call it the away strip, it's the change strip, I saw it against Rhyl a couple of weeks ago and it really stood out, I hope our performances can be as bright. :D

Totally agree with you. I don't know why I called it the 'away strip', it should be 'change strip'. A slip of the tongue on my part.
