Spent 25 or so of last 30 living in the Far East but always try and see a few games when back. Have a house just off Barnsley road in Wakey. As a lad after a game went to me Auntie Ethel's on Gawber road for me tea !!!

Born raised and live in the Scarborough area but both my parents from Cawthorne.
Followed Barnsley since late 70's but was a Liverpool fan like most of the kids my age.
Got bored supporting Scousers in mid 80's and switched my allegiances to Tykes who I've been supporting ever since.
Also have a 22 year old son who I've been able to turn into a red.

I could have gone to watch Leeds in the late 70s but I didn't want to (and Ive never been to Elland Road), and the rest is history.

Tigger. My dad grew up in 34 Mulberry Place. He's who got me into Barnsley, cricket n' drinkin'. Took me for my first pint of Stones in Ryhill Liberal Club. Of all the clubs he could av' got me affiliated with he chose Barnsley. Even though he eventually set up home in Pontefract via Blackpool and won't admit it is a mad Tottenham fan n' knows Cyril Knowles' younger brother.
