I see no benefit for having the ability to sign a player at any time throughout the season. Look how many times in the past that this has hurt us as the infirm picked up the best of our players. Yes they still do it, but they dont have the ability to do it to the extent they used to.

I also think it would allow our leadership to punt any asset they thought worth any more than a fiver at any time!

You definitely have a point my friend. One year ago in the same competition, Dundee drew 1-1 with East Fife and the Fifers went on to win....sorry 'draw' the penalty shoot-out, gaining the bonus point in the process. Realising that United have not achieved anything against Dundee in the past year that East Fife haven't managed, is certainly a very worrying fact. I thank you for zeroing us in on reality!
