Use of the word 'lad' on this message board IMO is very patronising.
If someone called me 'lad' in the street they would think twice before they did it again.

lad is just a term, i.e lads an lasses, if you want to take that to heart its your perogitive but i wouldn't get an ulcer over it. Especially if it is not meant patronisingly. a been called a lot worse.
