I think Chris Froome is the greatest British sportsman in my lifetime, and he can run. I'm not sure Mo can ride a bike.

Each to their own. My favourite sportsperson is the one and only Miss Laura Davies. Eats like a horse, sups like a fish, won a million tournaments, hits the ball miles, drives a fast Ferrari, supports the Gunners and plays footie in kick-a-bouts with the lads.
My sort of girl!

Unfortunately 59/60 doesn't post anymore UG,he took the huff and decided to leave.Shame really as he was a good poster for many years.

I used to like Steve Ovett..👍

I preferred Ovett to Coe. I also liked Geoff Capes who progressed from shot putter to World's strongest Man.

Well I'd submit

(2) Tyson Fury
(3) Daley Thompson
(4) Rory Mcllroy
(5) Lester Piggot

I am sure if this list was being made 7 years from now, it would have had Ben Stokes in there.
