Was just thinking how composed he was looking in possession with Arnason next to him rather than Reynolds.

They really are a team of thugs. I'd normally say I'd be amazed if they end up with 11 on the pitch but with this ref who knows.
Not watching the game so no idea how they are performing. Good to see 3 of my 4 picks from Thurs out the team. Only considine surviving. Think Stewart is a player but I've a niggly feeling the attitude is not the best. Glad Arnason is on the park.

Arnason looks pretty shaky to me, maybe just nerves in his first game back, but not exactly the composed performance I was expecting. Wright on the other hand looks brilliant.

Wright had a really good half and certainly looks our best prospect for a long time. Christie his usual self and my only slight gripe would be he is just a tad too greedy and misses a player in a better position than him.

Referee settled down a bit but if that is the best that is on offer we be as well give up now.

I wonder if Storey has actually done enough in his very limited time to warrant a start. I don't understand why he has had so little time to impress where as guys like Maynard and Stockley get extended runs in the team and in all honesty have not deserved the opportunity. Perhaps harsh on Maynard but he doesn't look anything special so far.

Todays ref obviously had the instruction anything 50/50 is not to go our way. Just as well he never had any big decisions to make in our box.

It was a nice finish from Storey, but he was on the pitch for 7 minutes and shortly after scoring made a mess of a good opportunity with a bad pass. Shoehorning him into the team just because he scored would be knee-jerk in the extreme as far as I'm concerned. Obviously McInnes sees them play every day in training and makes his decisions on that basis.

Hamilton are a horrible dirty moaning excuse for a football team and Dougie Imrie is just a caaaaant (plus the no. 18 whoever the **** he is).

Reasonable performance given last week's exertions. Wright very exciting and will keep GMS on his toes. Tansey and O'Connor excellent today as was Lewis who made a stunner of a save late in the first half.

Kari looked a bit off the pace today and his passing was Tayloresque, he will come good given game time though.

Jury still definitely out on Maynard.

Good vocal crowd today. All in all, a good day.

Pretty meh game really. Echo pretty much everything that's been written ... Hammer-throwers, clown referee, Kenny MacLean soooooo badly off-form just now.

Fine day for it, good crowd, 3 points, clean sheet - what's not to like about that? Until you remember we got papped out of Europe on Thursday in the 3rd round AGAIN by a sh!te team we should beat .....

Aye, agree with every word there. Fairly average performance from us but shows how far ahead we are of Accies that we can still win relatively comfortably. Wednesday night will probably be a tougher experience on that pitch made from old broom heads and concrete mix.

McLean is frustrating a the moment - he seems to have lost his way since around easter. His chance in the first half was on his strong foot and rather than trying to steer it into the corner he tried to melt it into next week. Shyte technique.

O'Connor had a very good first half. Wright and Christie chucked in a few crowd pleasers in either half. Everyone else was very average - after Thursday night its not a huge surprise. Maynard tried hard but nothing much seems to come off for him (yet).

That's the thing, theres folk on here that slag their fans off but to support Hamilton or any other team from the shires is in many ways, very commendable. When you hear of so many Aberdonians travelling to Ibrox and Parkhead it goes to show how hard it is to attract fans. Hope they had a safe journey back.

scrappy performance, but good result in the end.

Logan rightly MOTM, O'Connor good (first half in particular).
Christie and Wright a bit hot and cold altough both look to have the ability.
McLean not doing enough as far as I can see.
Maynard is looking ok, some nice link play. Should have scored but credit the defender for getting back.
Arnason was absolute pish, and that's being kind.

Opinions ersholes and all that but I thought we looked unbelievably dodgy at the back once Arnason went off,he wasn't great but a better team would have punished us with Reynolds and O'Conner as our centre halfs.

Maynard seems to me a guy who is trying his best but his better days are behind him, when he was at the top of his game 5 or 6 years ago he was all about pace and sharpness.2 knee injuries later he looks as mobile as Youl Mawene was when he signed for us.

Reynolds has lost it no doubt, O'Connor played well.

Maybe I'm seeing something else but I thought Maynard did ok, linked up well at times and atm I would start him ahead of the rest.

Saying Arnason had a shocker is a bit over the top considering we won and kept a clean sheet, he wasn't great but O'Conner looks a lot better alongside him, in the European games and when Reynolds came on yesterday they both look very nervy. I think they will both be better which ever one plays beside Arnason.

Maybe Maynard will come good he does have something about him but he is unbelievably slow, hence why a 36 year old managed to get back and clear his shot off the line when he rounded the keeper.

Never mair than 40 so I agree fcks sakes Maribor took as many fans

The ref was a disgrace and for Canning to say they were hard done by, no chance he was too lenient.

Their game plan was to kick us awf the park and get a 0-0 and that went when we scored stonewall penalty denied and on another day it could have been a complete rout.

Wright Tansey played well together and Maynard did a lot of running to no avail but its early days and he will come good.

Good to see Storey take his chance and score I think the lad deserves a go certainly Stockley has had ample chances so I'd like to see him get a start on Wednesday. Good crowd an all fir a Sunday game
