Frozen, nobody I knew ever drank them, they were like mega ice lollies (see what I did there?).

It'd last through a whole Saturday morning materny at Park Cinema, Marvel Man, Hopalong Cassidy and Luny Tunes one slurp at a time.

Park Cinema? Cinema? It was known as Park Pictures Gray.

Haha, no I walked it with my big sisters H.

Yes the full name was Park Picture Palace, but I thought I'd modernise it as some of the younger uns on here might think it was an art gallery. The Norfolk PP was a few hundred yards up the road, I often went there as well, in fact thinking back, the shop that sold the frozen Jubblys was near the Norfolk, at the end of a Bernard Road.

Park lad through and through and proud me, we lived there till I was nearly 10 and I could hear the roar from the Lane when we scored. I was only ever going to be a Blade.

The sweet shop on Bernard Street, was it a really tiny one at the top of a lane leading down to Weigh Lane/Duke Street? Was in the same class as the daughter who's name escapes me.
