Wish we had played it last night I had online
£5 Brisley to score at anytime 20/1 = £105
£4 grant to score at anytime 11/2 = £26
Love the way Brisley likes to get forward so worth watching his odds as they seem great value.

A couple of points to clarify:

1. If someone states X to score (see gumpy or steward) I’ll take it to mean “score at anytime”.

2. I take the odds from Bet365 unless someone names another bookie. This week KPie has quoted betvictor odds. They give 45/1 for a 4-1 Notts win, whereas Bet365 only quote 33/1. I propose that if anyone else chooses a 4-1 win they get the better odds as well. (I obviously don’t have time to check all bookies odds for all bets but suggest where someone (KPie in this case) quotes better odds than Bet365 we use those odds for that particular bet).

Anyone disagree?

It's going to get a bit complicated if we all start using different bookies....I've got an online Exchange in Gibraltar I use, but for the sake of ease I haven't quoted their odds......tell the guy in the Onion Suit to use 365 and if he starts grumbling tell him "that's shallot"

Good point, tarkers. We could in theory have a scenario where 20 punters are quoting prices from 20 different bookies. We'll see what others think but I tend to favour using just one bookies odds.

You're the one doing all the work here, 60 Years, and this competition could get pretty complicated by week 35....especially as more people join in if it gets popular once they realise that the First Prize is an all-inclusive holiday in Aleppo.

I'll tell him if you like, I don't mind being Mr Nasty....."Oi, Onion-breath, 365 odds or nada, comprende Amigo?"

Obviously he might not be a Spanish Onion, but it looks like it from his pic.

£5 Chesterfield to win. They are a best priced 31/10 with Marathon bet, but I will accept the 27/10 Bet 365 price for this competition.

It seems sensible to stick to one particular bookies odds-imo.
I will have the same bet as EP £5 Chesterfield to win with bet 365.

So that's sorted then....2 "ayes" to the right....."null point" to the rabble-rousers.......365 odds, or you get bent over a couch and spanked with a day-old cactus paddle

ps Onion.......My mate said ................................"did you know that an Onion is the only vegetable that can make you cry?"

I smashed him in the gonads with a 2 kilo turnip, wrapped in a santa-sock.........you should have heard him sobbing!

Looks like Tarkers has been on the sauce again. He can’t add up either, as so far we have 3 ayes.

I’ll leave it a bit longer till all the votes are in, then do a Notts and go with my own decision anyway (only joking AH).

Oops, sorry Grand Poobah....at this time of the afternoon in Mexicanaville, I cannot recall the number of Tequilas that I've had, let alone the number of assenting voices agreeing to the 365 format....I bow to your infinitive visdom....hic

Cheers KPie. Yours is the deciding vote and to keep things simple we’ll go with Bet365 odds.

I agree with you about Tarkers onion jokes. The more pickled he gets, the worse his jokes get.

i961pie was referring to the fact that it's been decided that to make things simple, we'll use Bet365 odds only. (see #22)

In your case it made no difference as Bet365's are the same as Betfairs.

These are the correct odds on BET365....26 and 15

Tarkers is quoting decimal odds. In real money (fractional odds) they're still 25/1 and 14/1

Honours go to me and gumpy this week. We both made a profit of £4 thanks to Jorge Grant.

We also take the overall lead from Tarkers, who drops to 3rd. Everyone else is =4th.

After 2 Games
1= .. 60YearsAPie ….... -£1.00
1= .. countygump ….... -£1.00
3 ….. tarquinbeech …... -£6.10
4= .. everybody else .. -£10.00

Round 3 next Saturday against Wycombe. That’ll be a tricky one to forecast.
