CBBC are looking for extras for their series Jamie Johnson, which is loosely based on Notts of course. Jon Stead and Roy Carroll have both appeared in it in the past. Might make some young Pies fan's day to get on this...

When you say young Notts fans, I assume you mean under 60.

Unfortunately it’s under 18s and they must be accompanied by a parent.

I was going to go along but my dad’s doing a triathlon that day.

My friend Mark Cockram tells me it is. I asked him when I popped round to borrow his rotavator.

Blowed if I know!

According to Wiki - “A telegraph message sent by an electrical telegraph operator or telegrapher using Morse code (or a printing telegraph operator using plain text) was known as a telegram.”

It usually involved going to your local Post Office and handing over a completed telegram form that was charged for by the word.

Hope that helps.
