Mi Dad

Lost mi Dad this afternoon, the bloke who got me into BFC. 1972 I think, took mi to mi first Reds match Halifax at om 2-2 & then took to me every so often as he used to work almost every Saturdays, later on in life He took us all over the country in his red ford transit works van from Plymouth to Newcastle, also London neet matches. Thank you Dad for sending me on the the greatest path you could have sent me(outside of family life) am raising a glass or two to you XXX

I won't say I know how you both feel lads because that wouldn't be right, none of us can know that really can we even though the same thing might have happened to a lot of us on here.
It goes without saying of course that at times like these your family and friends are the most important thing for the time being, not footy etc.
When our dad passed in Jan 2011 I appreciated some kind words of comfort from our former mods Ruthyn & CzechTyke in our e-mail conversations. That always meant a lot to me I don't mind saying. :)
