good bit of business , happy with that ..disappointed that site wouldn't bloody let me in on first 6 attempts ...I could have been the messenger with the good news .....
I assume the " who the **** is Stevie May" song will require a revamp OR we could keep it for his goals in the style of Ryan Christie "Sheep Sh***** Ba******"

Hopefully we can get rid of the donkey Stockley now, although I don't know why anybody would want him.

Hopefully good buy but now 4/5 strikers so which one/two going to leave Not Maynard or May , So leaves Stockley Storey & Rooney ?

Could be Rooney away rumours about Hibs :blue:

Agreed - far prefer to see Storey retained and Elbows out but fear it will be the other way round. Magic to get May on board though.

Good window. A left back and another into centre midfield would make it a great one.

Hopefully Rooney doesnt go, especially to Hibs who i think will be strong this season. For me, has to be Stockley or Storey... hopefully Stockley.

Can't see that McInnes was going on about how important he is to us plus they just signed Stokes and the boy Murray is scoring for fun so he will be in the same situation as he is here.Storey or Stockley will be the odd one out.

Anyway May should be a good signing for us,it's turned out to be a decent window I was pyshing my pants for nothing XD

Good signing as long as he isn't crocked.
**** the defence, attack is the best form of defence.

Just texted the news, that is a signing of intent as May is a very good player.
We have some fantastic forward players now.

TANSEY ARNASON GMS MAY MAYNARD CHRISTIE & STEWART; what a window

This tells us we have improved our wide areas in depth, improved our midfield, added to our forward line & signed just one defender.

I Suspect that Storey will be on his way out & that their will be no more signings this window, although a proper left back would be the icing on the Cake.

Nah **** it, go for the Keegan style of score 1 more than them, makes entertaining matches with goals a plenty

I heard rumours that May injured his knee leaving the Press room tonight and will be out for 4 seasons. Came from the same source that said Rooney was going to Motherwell and Hibs at the same time.

Hopefull a good signing, 4 year deal WOW
Aberdeen splashing the cash at last

What a turnaround from mid July when it looked like everybody was leaving !

Wright also a supeb prospect

Still need a class defender and we are sorted. Strongest pool in many a season

Happy days

No truth in the rumor that Sevco are chasing an unknown Portugese player called Pertofac

Hope to **** he doesn't end up crocked. If fit he will be one of the best signings we have made over the last couple of decades.

Im not sure why people are worried that he is going to end up crocked? Maynard had the same knee injury and nobody seems that worried about him getting crocked.

I would imagine AFC have checked that his knee injury is behind him considering they gave him a 4 year deal, if they weren't 100% sure I would have thought they would have given him a 1 or 2 year deal instead.

The position that badly needs strengthened if we are to give Sellic a real challenge, Considine fine against weaker teams but he doesn't have Hayes in front of him so we should go and get someone who plays the postion naturally !!!

Theres a big expectation that Harvie will be our natural successor to Considine at Left Back.
We wont be buying one.
When he gets his opportunity no-one knows but may come if an injury prevails

Maynard isn't the great white hope (no offence intended) and he didn't cost £300k and he also isn't our top earner.

The club couldn't offer him 1/2yrs as he would have knocked it back.

I see your point when you put it like that, its always a risk paying money for a player even those who haven't had injuries Liam Boyce being an example.

I still think Aberdeen wouldn't have spent the money on him and given him a 4 year deal unless they were positive his knee is fine.

edit I dont think he is our top earner by the way, I would imagine that Shinnie is.

Can we expect him to play tomorrow, do we know if he is match fit ?

It is always a risk but shirely it's more a risk when he's had so many really bad injuries?

Just saying I hope he doesn't have anymore issues (obviously) and also hope he is as prolific as we all think he can be.

He'll be on the bench I think.
My guess is Maynard (or dare I say it even Stockley) will start tomorrow.

I think he could start.
His match fitness levels won't be known, so better to start and change when he fades, than put on and find he's knackered for the last 10

He hasn't had a load of bad injuries he had one bad knee injury which kept him out for 15 months.

No it isn't if he had a load of injuries he would be injury prone like Jamie Smith who was never off the treatment table.

Anyway like you said hopefully that's behind him and he ends up being a key player for us.
