How was it? Let's face it there hasn't been much to shout about positively over the last few seasons.

Im a believer that if the players play and give 100% then the fans will reciprocate therefore the players will too!

Discuss.

Was a wee bit noisier than it has been, most of the noise was directed at the referee though. Also, having about 150 away fans never helps an atmosphere, unless of course the 150 are Arabs ;D

Exactly that ATYR. We face a long hard season at home both on and off the pitch, with virtually zero income coming from away support and then the cloggers sitting in and getting away with murder from the sinister men in black from the land of Sevco.

I am heartened by the quality of our two goals yesterday. The sending off of McM should be taken in context of the absolute roasting he gave Rooney in setting up the first AND the booking their number 14 did not get (as I said in another thread) in hacking him down, when he should have seen yellow. That was a throwback to the 80s when the hammer throwers got a few free passes to nail the wee skilful guys.

In our second, King (who is already getting questioned sadly) when we are playing with 10 men, sprints from half way to beyond McDonald and provides the lay off for Fraser to execute a brilliant move and finish.

We just need to stay strong and accumulate points. And plenty of them! There will be plenty atmosphere in the away games.

Atmosphere was pretty standard for Tannadice now sadly, i think Carnival 56 never helped, pubs were very very quiet, some of our squad left half way through second half to go to campy, as Ahltan says, away support never helped...

We are the big scalp in this league so two things are going to happen when the QotS & the Dumbartons come to Tannadice.
1) They are going to sit in
2) They are going to raise their game.

So in prospect we are going to have 17 more home games like y'day but with eleven men we should be good enough to equal last season's home record. Obvious to say maybe but I think we would have won a lot more comfortably had wee Paddy not been sent off. So great credit for winning when we were short-handed for an hour, that scenario doesn't happen too often.

And our away record will improve I'm certain.

Sang one song in 90 minutes. Room for improvement I'd say.

what does the moon and Tannadice have in common?

Buzz Aldrin has a season ticket at Tannadice and he has been on the moon?

Should allow fans in top tier of JYM stand. Could make a good racket their.
We should be getting a standing section sorted though.
