Burnley did great, much better than most bar BT expected. The balls over the defence will be something Pulis will look to exploit so hope they get the tactics sorted.
Chelsea have some problems (and had we got four might be very worried) to sort with Conte and the squad, with injuries and red carded players, but looked ominous once Morata appeared, so may brush this loss off, unless Spurs beat them.
Liverpool and Arsenal are not as good as they thought especially in defence. Spurs seemed good in defence and managed to break down Newcastles defence eventually once Shelvey got the red, City didn't look like Champions but had enough for Brighton Everton didn't look great despite their spend and Keane didn't seem that impressive whilst Stoke didn't offer much
Huddersfield looked good and their new striker Mounie got two and could have had four whilst Palace looked in disarray and deBoer looking out of his comfort zone.
Southampton had 22 shots and couldnt score and haven't done so at StMarys for 595 mins, Swansea looked poor without Cork and Llorente and with Siggurdson probably off could be in trouble. Watford and Leicester have the fire power though Andre didn't do much in his 30 min cameo, but the defences need some Polyfilla.
Bournemouth seemed flat and didn't create much despite a lot of possession and West Brom squeezed the win with Jay looking ominously sharp given next Saturday. If he went for £12M we missed a trick somehow given what we are being asked for unproven championship strikers.

So my teams in trouble early days, and teams to beat or not lose to, would be Swansea, Palace, Bournemouth, Stoke and Brighton.

However we need to beat West Brom to get the home run going, keep up the momentum and keep them down below us and stop up dropping down below them.

Jay's on £60k a week at WBA, he's out of our range on wages. We wouldn't go over budget for Gray, we wouldn't for Jay either. No good moaning about it, just the way it is.

Not moaning, did we ask if we could have a Brucie discount on the wage and give him a Brucie bonus if we stayed up. Just wondering if a return home might have had a premium. Anyway that's gone and no doubt will crop up with Danny if he comes on loan.

Not moaning,

Sorry OC, it's just you saying we missed a trick with Jay at £12m. That wasn't the problem, we could have paid the fee, but we couldn't come close to the wages WBA offered him, so it was never really on.

You're better informed than I Sinkov, no need for apologies. I'm thick skinned.
Did we try?

I just don't like playing against West Brom although they have not won any of their last five league matches at the Turf.
