His time will come. Another season like last season and he'll get a bigger move than Swansea.

My thoughts exactly, thought he had more ambition than that

Silly laddie? No ambition?
£10k/week not enough?
He's actually a very intelligent laddie.

I agree, he's 25 and when the two years are up he'll truly be at his peak.

He is indeed a very intelligient laddie. Unusual in a fitba player ;).
Effing hate the Tims massively however I will wish him well personally. Will always watch his career with interest and hope he gets a move to a better club eventually. Arabest Stuart.

Yeah totally admire Armstrong.Model professional IMO and intelligent which is unusual for a football player. He'll get his move in a couple of years .

If he had any concrete offers from down south I think he would've been away.
Why is it that every footballer has to reach his peak at age 27 yrs? I've heard this quite a lot over the years.
I honestly think he is old enough to handle a move at this moment both mentally and physically had the opportunity arose.
Surprised Southampton never made a move for him :P

Playing Ross countys and Dundees of the league and winning everything at a canter is not ambitious IMO

He has only signed up for another two years. I would say that smacks of a gentlemens agreement - give us one more quality season and you'll get a big move next year, and possibly to a bigger club.
Also it was only announce after they have virtually guaranteed CL football...maybe that sealed the deal for him to stay.
I like to see him do well, nice guy and was great for us.

Lol, exactly! A lazy, agent driven decision.

It's not quite as easy as that either, pop down over the border & become a millionaire by Xmas.
Not belittling him at at all but there are dozens & dozens of Stuart Armstrongs down there.
How many have made the journey from here & made it to the top table?
Most I can think of should have bought a return ticket.

I believe he's one of the very few who would make it at the top level and this is 2 years of a very short career wasted imo. I hope I'm wrong.
