I was hoping he would go as I don't/didn't rate him but so far this season hasn't put a foot wrong.

But I said Chris Wood was sh1te last season and wanted him to go..and look how that one turned out !

Loved the way him and janssen embraced as Sunderland missed a late chance. Think the captains armband has give him super powers or maybe just a sense of responsibility. Agree he's started well.

Be great if he gets back to the form that attracted PL interest, one time him and Bamba looked the real deal....maybe its lucky 7th Leeds manager for him.

Seems he's done enough for TC to think that him, Jansson and Pennington with Shaughnessy as back up are all we need now.

Midfielder Shaughnessy as a central defender was a bit of a bonus we also have highly rated Paudie O'Connor for middle of back four.

Hopefully the money saved on a central defender we can spend on a couple of decent strikers

Me too. Iv shot him down a few times. Perhaps it was Bamba making him look bad.
