He was right too, we might be sponsoring England's midfield as well in a couple of years with DCL and Brooksy, not to mention Lowton and Naughton both plying their trade in the Prem.

I'm proud at the quality this club's academic has produced in recent years, superb, but not so much how they've used it to benefit the most important aspect of a football club, the first team.

Wasn't there an article a couple of weeks ago that said the academy had produced more PL players than anyone else in the EFL?

Ypu mean somebody else got there first Chips? :).

I do apprciate he's the last in a long line, ATM, but he's also the one who's squandered the biggest opportunities with the money available in the PL.
