Does McKinnon get to turn us around? How many good performances since he took over? This is not knee jerk or anything, I've said it on here numerous times he is not the man to take us up.

This season is make or break IMO we cannot afford to stay down another season

hopefully no longer but id be shocked if he was gone unless we started falling to 7+ points behind , hes no better a manager than the last 2 (worse imho), the sooner he goes the better chance we have of going up.

He wont be sacked anytime soon, no chance unfortunately.

Said that last season offshore, we would've been aswell sticking with mixu, which is absolutely shocking.

Because he likes to stick with his favourites, i really dont think he should get long. If he clear his head of this stubborn streak, i am willing to re-assess at the first 1/4.

I am waiting to hear more from those who were there today and what i see during our next important game i get to.

Aye but......Rays got all his badges, did great at Brechin and Raith, and ex-player loves United.

Unfortunately he's incapable of actually putting out a team capable of competing to the level required.
We don't expect to win every game but do expect us to compete in every game.

Not posted before, but even when we were 1st linked with Ray didn't think he was the man for the job wanted more experienced guy not a ex player because that's went well before.

Will the cheap option instead of Tommy Wright kill us? This is now what terrifies me

He would have kept us up, £125k vs £1.5m loss. Great business sense that was eh...

I agree. Situation was easily saveable until Mixu

Mixu must be worst manager of our history.

In fairness to Ray today terrible but his recruitment and selection way ahead of Tombola Mixu

His recruitment might be better but his ability to get the best out of them is the problem.

So far, out of Jackie, Mixu and Ray, the one who most excuses could be made for is Mixu. Ray is reminding me of Jackie. It's like Jackie v Tommy Wright all over again. Not a clue.

Don't know why Flood started. Played a good 20mins last week and gets put into the first team against one of our main challengers. He's already proved that he is out of his depth in some games but yet McKinnon stills picks him.
Billy King up to nothing today and same goes for Scott McDonald.
Gifted St mirren 3 goals by allowing them too much time. Don't know who to blame, the manager's tactics or the players.

OA ,Chick , I was there yesterday , honestly it was 3 could easily have been 5 or 6 , started 4_3_3 , changed to 4-2-3-1 after second goal , looked like 4-4-2 at end when N,Koyi came on but far to late by then .

Worrying lack of fight , like last year far to easy to play against , all teams have to do is press us high and get stuck in and we are ****ed , seen at the second derby at Dense , obviously other managers have have seen it as well , worrying lack of plan b.

McKinnon needs to learn playing pretty passing football is not gonna win this league , still early days but danger signs are there
