Just shows how difficult getting out of L2 is going to be this year, never easy but this year it seems anyone can beat anyone. 2nd & 3rd this morning now 7th & 8th, teams in mid table now in top 3. Crazy but at least we should have a good chance of the playoffs 'fingers x'd"

Luton just scored two in 5 mins to dump Masfield down to 13th ! Great fun to be had with the table after 4 games.

After todays results, can't believe we still occupy a play-off spot

Table still looks good this evening, 1 point behind 2nd and still in the play-off zone. Having said that, current form tables are usually 6 games, we've only played 4, so it's relatively meaningless at this stage.

If we hadn't tossed away a 2-goal lead, we'd be in clear second place tonight....grrrrr

Who'd have thought we'd be above Coventry so early after that opening day defeat.

John Sheridan's Oldham still on zero points, presumably losing his case against Notts will see him completely destitute this coming Christmas.

Need Leeds to put the breaks on Fword this evening, though the dark side always seem to start seasons well.

I know it's early days but the table already has a compressed look about it - only Exeter have more than 8 points and no team has less than 3. Worth comparing it with League 1 where 5 clubs have more than 8 points and four have less than 3 (two of them still on 0).

The early indications are that this could be a very tight season and that someone could get into the playoffs with a relatively low points total.

At least we didn't lose ground to other clubs and with Luton coming back to draw with Mansfaild, then Colchester putting 5 past FGR and only conceding 1.

Made it a good afternoon. ;D

Things have gone mad this weekend, Newport near the top after all their problems last season, (13th minute hatrick by Noulbe) Yeovil beating Coventry, are Coventry in free fall? Chesterfield bottom of league. Mansfailed throwing a two goal lead away, where have I heard that before...

And I see the Beast got two against Grimsby.....
